[ in the kitchen! it's time for the ragebaking to begin, and boy do they ever have a reason to rage at an inanimate object that can't fight back, especially after this weekend.

there's all the ingredients one might need to make a dough out on the side, and yuri is perched on one of the counters wearing his regular clothes, but covered with a little costume apron. he gives sqx a little wave when she arrives. ]

Good to see your hand's back to normal size now.

[ragebaking, indeed! shi qingxuan is a little unsettled after everything from the past weekend - although, she's trying to keep it together and be positive so they don't just fall into the trap of angsting forever. they stopped hk-47! that's a good thing.

now they just have to figure out what to do next.

Ahaha, I got lucky! Gluttony fixed it for me last night after all. They didn't even ask me for anything in exchange, they just did it.

It would have gone away with time, but it was nice not to have to deal with it for much longer. Anyway! [she rolls up her sleeves.] I believe we have some dough to beat up?

I'm sure we'll scrape by somehow. And if it takes longer, we can just use the extended wrath to fuel us.

C'mon, let's get started. We're going to need some water, sugar and yeast first, then flour and just mix it all together.

[water, sugar, yeast... that's easy enough to find, at least. a bowl, and... a spoon? yep.]

How much should we put in?

[ pretend he's telling her measurements, i haven't made bread in like four years. ]

-- then we mix it until smooth and let it sit somewhere warm for ten minutes.

Maybe I should put the oven on to help with that?

Oh, that's probably a good idea. [she eyes the bowl] We can probably mix this aggressively, but I feel like that would just make a mess.

It would probably count for some wrathful actions though, so.

[ he grins, from where he's trying to get the oven on so it can heat up the area a bit. ]

[she'll clean it up later, she promises, gluttony and/or whoever else comes into the kitchen a lot!!

with the oven warming the area around it, ready to both prove the dough and bake the buns eventually, yuri will just watch her have a fantastic time mixing the ingredients together. ]

I'm not sure I even need to guess who you're imaging you're beating up.

Ahahaha, that's not a difficult one to guess at all. Though it'll be much more satisfying once we actually have dough.

There such a thing as over kneading. Maybe we should split this into smaller batches for... optimal kneading?

That sounds like a perfect idea.

[she looks at the bowl]

...how do we know when this is ready to be punched... erm, kneaded?

[ he leans over... and then take the bowl from her, folding a towel over the top. the bowl will sit near the oven where it is warmer and toastier. ]

We leave it for.... ten to twenty minutes, and it'll rise. Then we get to punch all the air out of it.

[she cracks her knuckles]

Can't wait, can't wait!

C’mon. We’ll figure out what to fill them with while we’re waiting.

[ jam? cream? hm? ]

Hmm... you said they were sweet buns, right? What sort of flavors do you like?

[aubins]

I'm not too fussy. Jam works? Custard, but we'd have to make that, which could add some time to the whole thing.

Hmm... I'm a little impatient to try it, so let's go with jam.

[aubins]

Sound like a plan to me.

[ the can get The Jam. the flavours will be whatever we think of on the fly because i'm going to skip and say the dough is risen so they can get to punching.

yuri will split the dough into smaller sections as well, so that they can have plenty of punching opportunities. that's probably two decent sized pieces of dough each!. ]
