I think maybe the Avatars each have a set number of powers, regardless of how they're given out. I got Extra Serving pretty early on, and Mineo got it through doing one of the tasks... Molly and I certainly didn't use Aphrodite on him and White, and while it's possible someone else might have gotten it from a task the same week as us, I have to admit now that it's possible someone may have received it from an Avatar, too.
It wasn't a full clear shot of it, but... yes. It might be. [ ... ] I'll need to let Sasazuka know, among others.
So it could be a case of recycling and reusing powers, but they don't have infinite number to tap into. So the more we find out, the more we can predict what other powers there are out there.

It does - but for what it's worth, I think they're likely subject to the same limitations as the weekly powers. When I was given Extra Serving, I only had two weeks to use it, just like the power I got from a task. [...] Mineo also said, we can only have two powers in reserve at once? So if we earn another through a task, someone who already has two has the option of refusing the power from the task.
I wonder if maybe that might be why some people have been quiet about their task powers at the trials...
It still doesn't change the fact that some of the cases we've been trying to solve might have been complicated by the use of someone with a power we didn't know about, or someone just changing their entire appearance or a body part and leaving a false trail. You see what I mean?

...although I'm still not convinced one was used in Eleanor's murder. I think they might have been referring to how Harrow's influenced what happened with Misa, since... what she intended to do still counted enough for voting for her to have been correct.

Someone used a power on Mineo, but I don't think that would've been involved with the murder itself, no. I think we've pinpointed which one so that's not such an issue, just we don't know who it was.

Probably not many. I'm more concerned about who has it and what they might do with it. I'd be less fixated on it if it was in the hands of certain people in this group. Like, say... Mineo. Or Sasazuka.
To be entirely fair, he's also weirdly fixated on who other people might be attracted to. [a beat.] So maybe someone decided to give him a taste of his own medicine? But... I can't think of anyone he's teased who had a power like that.

I think... four people know mine now. And that's more than I was expecting to tell. So I can't really do the groundwork to find out more unless someone else who knows it is doing the same thing and is willing to compare notes, so to speak.
