Most of them -- most of them -- are pretty apologetic when they can't answer or do something, so I think that's a fair assessment. And then there's... well....

Well... perhaps. Their appearance wasn't the most unusual thing I've ever seen, but admittedly, I come from a world of gods and ghosts. But they seemed to look like something almost... in-between?

[gods look mostly human, as do ghosts of a higher caliber; weaker ghosts and demons look obviously inhuman.

Another way of putting it would be, did you share memories with that avatar? Because what I saw in the memory I saw, and when I saw the same Avatar, they were different.

I can't really say more than that then. It's not my place to. But... keep it in mind? I think when you see it, if it's a common thing amoung all of them you might realise what I mean.

... But it would lend weight to the idea they have their own things they're dealing with here, other than just watching us run around all day.

...I know we've got our own situations to deal with, but - do you think it's something we might be able to help them with...? If they're in some kind of trouble, I don't want to just leave them to it.

If they're trapped here as well, I'd feel like an asshole leaving them behind. But again -- they get cagey talking about it. We'd have to stumble across something on our own and I'm not sure where to begin.

The rooms don't feel... I don't know. Random? I mean, I can't place why we got a jail cell that we're never going to use and a chapel last week, when we're all from different worlds and worship different things...

But it doesn't feel like it's all purposeless. I just don't know what that purpose is.

Maybe if we could manage a week without voting, we could make use of it, but I see what you mean. [...] Everything feels like a part of some kind of puzzle, but it's all scattered enough that I can't quite make out the big picture yet.

... I think I might ask Greed about voting numbers. Chances are I'll just get a [ (edgeworth voice) and i can make this joke mods because britt and i have both perceived you ] "Leclerc that is not relevant, you should be focus on improving the overall poor performance at the trial itself" ... but it would be helpful to know how many people are voting and how many aren't.

I was thinking about that, too. As our numbers go down, the margins will get narrower and narrower - so that's something we really need to know, if "skipping the vote" is a thing we actually want to try doing.

... I haven't voted since we got here. [ might as well be honest. ] Ultimately, the killers will have a reason to vote each week. So hoping for no vote is a lot, really.

But whether we need to actually vote or not was another one of those things the Avatars got rather cagey about.

To be honest, the best chance we'd have of making it through a week without a vote would probably be if someone killed in self-defense and admitted it right away.

But the killers would probably vote for that person if there was more than one murder and only the person admitting to a crime of self defence was caught.

You'd need at least three or four people with an agreement, a person and a plan to vote for someone else to balance it, and you'd be potentially sacrificing someone innocent of any crimes here anyway.

[and considering they've had an extra body every week... yeah. good luck with that, gang.

I wouldn't want to vote for someone innocent on purpose, anyway. [although last week has demonstrated that she probably could rally enough people into voting for anyone. what the heckie.]

Even then, we've got enough killers we've missed now that there's a chance they'll vote just to avoid getting belatedly caught themselves.

... It was never going to be simple, but now I don't know if not voting is the right option going forward. But without being sure, I don't necessarily like condemning someone. Not unless I know they're already guilty of something here.
