[ he balances the broom in his hands and gives it a experimental swing. it's definitely too bottom heavy with the broom head still attached, but that's fine. they can fix it and hope that gluttony doesn't descend from the ceiling to end them for crimes against the setting.

he sets the broom down against the counter and starts digging through the cupboards for string, and... anything to loosen and tug the broom head free. ]

If we still had knives I might've been able to dig one those nails [ screws? ] out and make my life a lot easier...

[ he just goes back to digging out those nails from the broom and then pushing the bristled end off with a clatter once they're loose enough. ]

[ thanks gojou is complicit in this crime now. yuri will be busy tying the juggling pin to the stick of the broom with a focused expression as he knots and double knots it in place.

Weird, isn't it? Using a sword's second nature and now I'm surprised I didn't just grab the pointy end I was so bad with it.
