Actually, I was in the med bay. The effects could be pointing to some other humid place... [and hopefully they do. no one deserves to be subjected to the stench of vlad.]

... I wonder where. Or maybe we won't get to know until tomorrow, given that this place is really fond of sticking to that nine hour limit.

Overnight? Not much. We were hungry, and then in the morning all we could smell was burned food.

Smoke, burning... I suppose that paints a consistent picture.

Hunger and food, though... hmm.

I saw something strange after leaving the med bay, actually. In the City. [she... hesitates, and pours herself a drink.]

[she looks very tired.]

The... liberties this place takes to make us aware of what happened sure are something.

I can't disagree. At times, they're absolutely ridiculous. I wonder what really causes them...

Memories? Distortions? I'm not really sure. They do all end up being related to what happened, so we know it isn't a coincidence.

[sistocracy]

It's especially strange that we see some things before a murder's even occurred, too...

Is it related to the murderer's intentions? Or are we really seeing a glimpse of the future?

[aubins]

Or... more related to the person in question. But then again, last week in the dog park the dogs were sluggish like they were drugged and it turned out drugs were used in a murder.

Another thing to ask the Avatars about, maybe. As if we didn't have enough to bother them about as is.

The murderer likely intended to use a drug from the start, right? That's why I wonder if there were any effects that couldn't have been... you know, pre-planned.

But... You're right. The Avatars might be able to just tell us the answer.

... If Eleanor liked shrimp, someone could've planned to lure her out with that? I don't know.

Well, within reason. They might not be able to, but then might be able to hint.

[lenore swirls her cup a little.] Ah, but the shrimp appeared after the murder was done. So unlike the effects from Thursday evening, they could point to something that's already transpired.

Shrimp though. Did someone throw them? Try to use them as weaponry?

I don't think they would make for a good weapon. Even if they are kind of... gross.

Maybe Eleanor decided to get a late-night snack? It wouldn't be the smartest thing to do, but... [gestures at croissants and toblerones]

They... kind of are? I mean they taste fine, but it's still a lot of seafood just being thrown around.
