Omi and mr Douman have been swearing all week because of the effect. It's a bit funny, actually.

Gap Moe. It's a sort of cuteness or charm found in people acting in a way counter to how you'd expect them to, based on how they look or normally act.

It can be like that! But the thing they're doing doesn't have to be cute, the cuteness is in it being unexpected. If someone like our dear doctor said fuck, it wouldn't be cute, but since Omi and Mr Douman are normally so formal, it's cute when they do.

Oh, I get it. So something really out of character but it just ends up coming across as cute so it's, uh "gap moe".

I'm glad I remembered it. I was having a hard time remembering things I knew, earlier this week.

There must be lots of modern terms like that floating around. This is the first one someone's explained though.

[ tea room it is!

yuri has a cup of tea in front of him, but doesn't seem to be drinking it. he's just watching the steam rise from it instead, lost in thought. ]

[A mood for sure. Fukuda wanders in and for some reason chooses to sit at the table next to him rather than with him.]

It's a terrible evening, isn't it?
