[Still... organizing... She holds up two identical boxes of pasta, squinting at them.]

You heard me. He’s being romantic, and I kind of think he hates it.

[ he squints at the pasta too and then at sheila ]

[she continues to examine these boxes.]

And that’s why it’s really funny.

So what’s wrong with these boxes, then?

and then swaps the boxes out so the one she was holding goes in the back.

I guess as far as compulsions go, this could be worse.
